We had a wonderful time with Lisa and Ken on their wedding day! We went our separate ways before the wedding – Vicky with Lisa at the Inn on the Sky (a beautiful bed and breakfast nestled in scenic Penns Valley), and Jim with Ken at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. After a beautiful ceremony, the newlyweds exited the church to bubbles and took a short trip to the Nittany Lion Shrine and Old Main for some photos before heading to the Mt. Nittany Inn for a small, relaxing reception of close friends and family. The floral design was by Avant Garden and the delicious cake was made by Delectable Delights. There were even special cookies made by Ken and Lisa – Ken and his mom used to make them, and now Ken and Lisa make them together. It was a great day and we are thankful to have been able to share it with so many wonderful people – it was like we were part of the family!
Thanks for having us and congratulations Lisa and Ken!
What a great time we had at Christen and Jeremy’s wedding! The ceremony was held at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in State College, with the always entertaining and thoughtful Father Charles officiating. Our first stop on campus was the Nittany Lion Shrine. You should have seen Christen climbing up on the Lion – classic!! – check out the slideshow for a hilarious shot . Then it was off to Old Main for some romantic photos of the newlyweds and finally a stop at the JoePa statue for the guys (with a very funny moment from Jeremy!). The reception at Toftrees was accented by beautiful flowers from Woodrings Floral Gardens and an amazing cake from Delectable Delights, with Eric Stoner from Nittany Entertainment keeping the party rolling . We ended the night with a sunset walk on the golf course… and a surprise gift from the groom to his new bride – perfect!
Virginia and Adam’s wedding on August 29th was a blast! After the ceremony at Our Lady of Victory, we found out at the last minute that “someone” got us access into Beaver Stadium. So we headed over for some great shots inside the stadium (and outside, too!). The reception was at Marrara’s Mountain Lodge about 20 minutes out of town. Little did we know, the drive over was to be the last quiet moment of the evening… what a party they had! The reception was spread across an outdoor tent, inside the lodge, the back deck and the gazebo down below, each section with it’s own unique decor, atmosphere and guests happily eating and drinking. We knew Virginia’s family is from Poland, but we were completely unprepared for the magnitude of “partying” at a Polish wedding! Thanks, Virginia and Adam, for sharing your amazing wedding with us!
