State College Portrait Photography – Jake’s Senior Photos

We were really excited when Jake called us and asked us to take his senior photos – we had photographed him before as part of Kennedy Dance Centre’s annual performance. Vicky and I knew he could sing, dance, and perform on stage, but we were still amazed when we walked into his family’s church to start the shoot and found him playing the piano, singing Aerosmith’s “Don’t wanna miss a thing”. We let Jake continue to play while we photographed him from a bunch of different angles, using both studio light and the soft light filtering in through the stained glass windows.

Talleyrand Park was our next stop, and Jake provided us with one of our more memorable shoots – he was full of creative energy, cool poses, and humor. The hardest part for us was simply to keep up and not miss anything! Thanks a million, Jake – we had a blast!

  1. Vicki and Jim:
We could not be happier with Jake’s photos! But we are at a complete loss as to the best way to make choices (how can we eliminate any?), how to get them in the yearbook, and details like those….
