State College Portrait Photography – Gina’s Senior Photos

Filed under Portraits,Senior photos • Written by vjmStudios @ 9:48 pm

Over the past few years, we’ve gotten used to our Seniors incorporating their sport or hobbies into their photos – we’ve seen basketballs, footballs, soccer balls, pointe shoes, and some shoes that should have been thrown away years ago! Gina came to us with an entirely different passion – the cello. She wanted some studio shots with the cello, so we sat her down on the posing stool, and she began playing while we “fiddled” with our lighting setup (sorry, couldn’t resist!) Neither Vicky or I are musicians, so we always find it fascinating to watch and listen to someone as talented as Gina.

After the studio session, we headed to Centre Furnace Mansion’s beautiful gardens for some outdoor photos. We finished the evening (it was a perfect evening for photos, by the way) with Gina in a beautiful, full length gown, lying comfortably in the grass, with her cello across her lap. Thanks, Gina for a really great session!
